Do you have an ACC related injury that is keeping you from working?

Active Health is a leading New Zealand provider of programmes designed to assist injured employees to return to work.

In partnership with ACC, Active Health physiotherapists focus on assisting the individual to achieve a managed return to work through communication, consultation and rehabilitation.

Patients who are currently receiving weekly compensation, have an ACC injury and who are being managed by their GP, are ideal candidates for these rehabilitation programmes.

    TRACEY DAYSH

    Registered Nurse │ Rehabilitation Manager

    Qualifications:  RCompN, MHealthSci(Rehab) – Distinction

    Experience: Graduated from nursing in 1991 completing Masters in Health Science speciality Rehabilitation in 2013 from University of Otago.  Has held senior roles in rehabilitation for the Ministry of Social Development,  ACC, and APM Workcare specialising in Vocational Rehabilitation. Rehab Exp: Vocational Rehab since 2000

    Other Specialities:  Quality Systems Management, Relationship Management, Education and Mentoring.

    SARAH GUDSELL

    Senior Occupational Therapist

     Qualifications:  Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy), AUT 2004

    Experience: Vocational Rehabilitation since 2004 specifically Stay At Work Contract.  ACC Training for Independence Programmes, Initial Occupational Assessments and Escalated Care Pathways.

    Other Specialities:  Other Specialities: Pilates, preventative workstation assessments and education for corporate clients.
