Dr Yaso Kathiravel - Sports DoctorBsC(Hons) MB ChB(Edin) • Interest in injury prevention and exercise physiology, in particular in knee / shoulder injuries and team sports injuries• My key aim is to identify the cause of the injury and prevent recurrence with rapid return to sport and competition • Involved in sports medicine and sports research over the last 12 years in Scotland, Ireland, Australia and NZ. Currently involved in on-going research projects in collaboration with Lincoln University and University of Otago • Research and work experience with the Scottish Rugby Union Medical Committee.
