Our experienced nutritionist is here to help you with all your nutrition needs including performance and competition nutrition, eating to optimise energy, healthy eating and disease prevention through nutrition.
An initial appointment with our nutritionist will include a diet and body composition assessment, providing you with a nutrition summary and the appropriate resources to achieve your personal nutritional goals. Analysis includes lifestyle factors, food preferences and budget.
Generally two appointments are required for assessment and programming, although on-going follow up is available for continued monitoring, adjustment of diet and on-going support when needed.

Meet our Nutritionist:
Aimee Burns -BCApSc (Nutrition), PGDipDiet (Credit), MSc(Distinction), NZRD Aimee is a New Zealand Registered Dietitian, and has a Masters Degree in Nutrition from The University Otago. She is an ISAK Level 1 Accredited Anthropometrists (body composition testing) and a Nutrition Provider for the New Zealand Academy of Sport.Aimee specializes in sports nutrition and she has a wide range of experience dealing with athletes from both team and individual sports. Aimee is currently the Lead Higher Performance Nutritionist for Netball New Zealand’s Under 21, Secondary Schools and Talent Development Programme’s. Aimee is also the consulting Sports Dietitian for the Canterbury Rugby Academy, and works with carded athletes based in Christchurch. Being a registered Dietitian Aimee is also qualified to work with conditions including cholesterol management, diabetes, and food allergies and intolerances. Aimee has past experience working with disorder eating, adolescent nutrition and mental health. Aimee is also a competitive cyclist and is a member of the Benchmark Homes Cycling Team. Aimee’s interest areas are nutrition research, performance and competition nutrition, eating to optimism energy levels and mostly importantly healthy eating and disease prevention through nutrition. |
