Mobilisation and Manipulation
All Active Health QEII Physiotherapists are trained in joint mobilisation, with a number of our staff having post-graduate qualifications in manipulation.
Joint mobilisation aims to stretch stiff structures and relieve pain, restoring structures within a joint to their normal positions and allowing recovery of movement.
Spinal manipulation is a high velocity technique which can be particularly useful in restoring spinal movement and normalising function.
