Mark Hollands - Director

Mark heads the Physiotherapy Team and is a Director of Active Health QEII. He has extensive experience both here and internationally, with areas of interest including cycling injuries, knee rehabilitation and back problems.

Anthony Chapman - Physiotherapist

Our very own sporting icon, Anthony has been a NZ representative road and track cyclist since 1995. While cycling and triathlon injuries are a bit of a speciality, he has a keen interest in running, netball and rugby-related injuries as well.
Anthony is also our specialist for bike-set ups as well as both running and cycling technique anaylsis.

Rebecca Rae - Physiotherapist

Rebecca has been with Active Health since 2002, apart from a 2 year stint at a sports and orthopaedic clinic in the UK. Her focus is on hands-on treatment, using acupuncture where appropriate, and currently she is busy completing a Post-grad Diploma in Sports Medicine.

Elaine Schou - Physiotherapist

As the current team Physio for Canterbury United soccer Elaine sees a lot of injuries that need fixing fast. Her focus is using exercise rehabilitation for specific needs to get you back to into activity. Having worked overseas in private practice Elaine has a wealth of experience treating a wide variety of injuries.

Mark Harrison - Physiotherapist

After several years of owning his own physiotherapy practice in London, Mark has returned to NZ. His expertise is sporting injuries, working with both elite and recreational athletes, with the focus of getting back to sport as quickly as possible. Mark promotes exercise rehabilitation as key to a well functioning body.

Chris Scott - Physiotherapist

Chris is an import from Australia, settling here after several years working in the UK. He has a keen interest in mutisport, triathlon and related disciplines, using specific core stability training for optimal recovery and to prevent injury reoccurrence. Chris also has a Masters in Manipulative Therapy.

Rochelle Wardle - Physiotherapist

Rochelle is experienced in all types of sports, spinal and occupational injuries having worked both here and in the UK. Her extensive experience using Pilates and core control rehabilitation for spinal injuries focuses on the whole body rather than just the injured area. Rochelle is also currently completing a Post-grad Diploma in Sports Medicine.

Julianne has a wide range of physiotherapy experience ranging from treating high profile elite sports teams to those little niggly everyday injuries that we are all familiar with. Her focus is a full return to function and further injury prevention so Julianne will look at your total ergonomic function either in your sport or home environment.
