Blake placed a very credible 5th in his heat for the Short Track 1500m speed skating.
He has been a regular athlete at our clinic for the past 4 years so we are very proud to see Blake competing as part of the NZ Olympic team. He will also be racing in the 1000m and 500m later in the week. We will keep you posted on the results.

Liesel Geertsema (our sports physician) has been named as a Team Doctor for our New Zealand Commonwealth Games Team heading to Delhi in October 2010. Liesel will be part of the medical team looking after some 300 athletes for the duration of the Games.

Nat blitzed the competition in the Winter Triathlon at the Wanaka Winter Games recently. Whilst this is not an Olympic qualifying event it puts him in good stead for selection in the team for the 2011 Winter Olympics.
